Eshcon’s 20th anniversary

Eshcon supports university students for 20th anniversary

What were you doing in March 2006?

20 years ago I decided to start out on my new adventure, setting up the environmental and carbon management consultancy Eshcon.

Yes, it’s Eshcon’s 20th anniversary!! With my clients and partners all over the country, instead of a party I decided to do various things to celebrate:

  • Personalised anniversary chocolates to some of my clients.
  • To join the party atmosphere, I sponsored the Gatwick Diamond Business Awards – didn’t we all have a great time on the night, did you try out the Magic Mirror?
  • I donated to the Sussex Kelp Project, to help protect marine environments (did you know kelp forests are excellent carbon sinks, fast-growing & great at absorbing carbon emissions?).
  • AND I set up two Progression Scholarships for environmental management students at the University of Brighton, to help students on low incomes during their studies. I’m so excited about this one, always wanting to help our upcoming environmental professionals.

But the celebrations shouldn’t stop there…

Next time you see me at a networking event or conference why not come over and say hello. There probably won’t be a glass of bubbly, but a cuppa is just as good to mark the occasion!
