Canalicchio di Sopra - Brunello di Montalcino 1994 (750ml) Hawke's Bay with the remainder being selectedThe color is intensely ruby garnet when young and will pick up more brackish tones with age. The aroma of the young brunello is of rose petals with hints of tobacco and leather. Controlled fermentation temperatures make this wine approachable early on and the palate is noticeably silky with balance and depth underscored by soft tannins.
