Beautiful Rare Twenties French Lingerie Lace - Example 20 hand made ribbon The design is titled BegoniaI have acquired a small collection of French lingerie lace from the 1920's possibly early 30's that was found all together in an old box that was originally from (what I assume) was the original atelier. A large fine netted ground with the design appliqud in a fine silk chiffon. Each section of the design has been edged in a couched silk thread. Exquisite.
