Ilex x 'Sadie Scudder' is a heavily variegated selection of Ilex cornuta x Ilex pernyi that can be used as a specimen, mass planted, or used as a hedge. Ilex x 'Sadie Scudder' is very spiny and would make a good barrier to keep pesky neighbors at bay. Probably best to keep pruned since it does tend to be fairly open (at least
