The placement of the label itched when she wore it and having a label in the dress did not mean anything  of significance during this time period so out it went

I love the silk braided cord tassels that tie at the neck and the small ruffle collar that adds the perfect amount of detailing

It is out there though so at some point I hope to be able to date it accurately either before its sold or will send a note to its new owner once that information is found

The silk itself is incredibly light and fine - a very high grade
